Mac

To my left, as I sit here typing this missive, is my old iMac computer. It is a 2014 (Late) computer which has served me well for going on eleven years. I can’t tell you how many images I have proofed on it or for how long I ‘ve been working in both Light Room and Photoshop. However, parts of that old OS were no longer working as they should so I had a decision to make: get a new Mac or send the old one out for repair.

I chose the first which is the one I am typing on now. A Mini Mac with 512 HDD and 24 GB of RAM. I have had it for only a day and one half and I have to say that I love the new OS and having so much available on iCloud from the old Mac. A thing not possible with a Windows PC, which is what I do programming on.

The monitor I use is an ASUS which is more than adequate for writing and I now have, speaking of writing, a blog on Substack as of a couple of days ago. You’d think at my age that I would be resting, vegetating?, but that is not me. A half acre yard does not allow me to slow down and I walk a good two to four miles almost each day. Listen to me go on!

As long as I have so many visitors on this website, Xog Ops, I figure you should know a little about tha author and I am not one who can speak of code day after day.
